The Gigaverse has several deities followed by its population. Each character’s dedication to their deity is different; while some may follow every will and word of their God, others may follow more loosely, keeping just the basic morals of their religion in mind. Some characters choose to follow no deity at all.

FEYZEIN
Neutral Good

Follows of Feyzein believe in charity and helping others above all else. While they understand that not all people will return the favor, they have no problem offering whatever services they can, even to those who may not deserve it.

While the followers of Feyzein will do almost anything to help another, they value the self as much as any other. They believe that, in order to help others, you must be healthy both in body and mind, and that helping yourself when needed is just as good as helping another.

The follows of Feyzein frown upon any action that unnecessarily harms or impedes another. While they understand the concepts of self defense, and the idea that nothing is free, they do not believe in revoking the freedoms of others.

Unfortunately, the followers of Feyzein are very often taken advantage of, even to extreme points of terrorism. Because of this, many followers do not share their religious affiliation or even go into hiding.

The followers of Feyzein are most known for their aid in Furre violence and discrimination, but not their revolt. Species most often affiliated with Feyzein are Furres, Coastal Elves, and Forest Elves.

QUEXTUS

Chaotic Neutral

Follows of Quextus believe in freedom for all, even if one must take it for themselves. They abhor the views of the Angelic Council, believing that all creatures have a right to live as they please, without the interference of any others.

While this sounds ideal in theory, the followers of Quextus are notorious for taking their freedom in unconventional and sometimes morally questionable ways. They try to avoid violence, but will fight back if challenged, and rarely take into consideration what the reactions of others may be when they act. They will not, typically, however, be the instigators in violence.

The religion of Quextus is illegal in all Angelic territories. The followers of Quextus are most known for their aid in the Furre revolt, the War for Telestial Freedom, and the acceptance movement for Imps.

The followers of Quextus are most often Imps, Vampires, and Demons.

OENA

True Neutral

Followers of the Goddess Oena believe in the preservation of nature. They believe in making their homes within the natural landscape, with as little interference as possible. They will do almost anything to defend the land, and while they are not outwardly violent, they consider fighting for nature a form of self defense.

Followers of Oena do not have any opinion when it comes to race or other factions, and choose not to involve themselves in anything political. They find that politics are pointless, as all of the world’s creatures will someday die, regardless of affiliation. In the meantime, followers of Oena make the world the best place it can be.

The followers of Oena are most often Forest Elves, Fairies, and Furres.

TYMIS

Lawful Neutral

The Goddess Tymis demands sacrifice in return for Her celestial givings. The followers of Tymis have regular rituals and ceremonies in which they use magic to burn offerings to the Goddess. Offerings are typically grown produce and grains, cooked goods, fabric, sewn blankets and clothing, trinkets, and other miscellaneous objects. Offerings cannot be anything or any part of anything that is living, or has ever been living, with the exception of feathers, fur, and hair that was obtained without the animal’s suffering.

These items are offered in return for good weather, bountiful harvests, and most of all, magic. Followers of Tymis train for their magic use by making larger offerings, and are thought to have stronger magic when they please the Goddess Tymis.

Similar to the followers of Oena, the followers of Tymis have little concern for the politics of the modern world. The followers of Tymis are most often Coastal Elves and Salamanders.

BIBLIOS

Lawful Good

The word of the God, Biblios, is this era’s Catholicism, following the modern day Bible to an extent. The followers of Biblios believe in staying “good,” but what is good is dictated by the word of Biblios. The followers are forbidden from having any sort of romantic or sexual relation with anyone who does not also follow Biblios, lest they convert them. Followers of Biblios are strongly encouraged to do what they can to help their community; while this involves typical good deeds like feeding the poor, etc., it typically also involves “spreading the word” (i.e. attempting to convert those they help.)

While all in all, the religion of Biblos is concerned with being good and fighting evil, its churches and groups are often very corrupt, with very few small churches actually following the word without a twist or bias. Followers of Biblios face some judgement in the world, with many assuming that just because someone follows the religion of Biblios, they are automatically judgemental and harsh.

The followers of Biblios are most often associated with the Angels and the Angelic Council, who are well known for their discrimination against Furres. Furres are not legally permitted in Angel territory, and are to be killed on sight.

The followers of Biblios are most often Angels and High Elves.

BAPHOMET

Chaotic Evil

Now traveling topside, accompanied by an army of his hellish followers, Baphomet is the son of Satan and stands for one’s self above all else. He encourages his followers to do whatever they want, however they want it, no matter who it hurts in the process. And if something you want is unobtainable? Well… Baphomet is sure he can work something out for you. For a price, of course.

SATAN

Chaotic Neutral

The father of Baphomet and Lilith, Satan treats his followers much like a gang. Satanists are to take care of themselves and one another, even if it means killing anyone in their path - unless the one in their path is an animal. Satan abhors animal cruelty.

OTHER

While the above deities are those most often followed, many other characters are simply agnostic or atheists. Others may follow made up deities, a telestial leader, or even consider themselves Gods.
